I love this picture! She looks like such a perfect doll in all the others....here is some spunk. She is absolutely gorgeous!!! I am so happy for you all and can't wait to give her some hugs and kisses of my own. Looks like she has the same sparkle in her eye and smooth cheeks as her big sis! Happy Birthday again Katherine and have lots and lots of fun on your trip. See you all soon!
Susan, Elsa is finally where she belongs. There has been alot of activity on the yahoo group waiting for these pictures. Thanks for sharing. Can't wait for you to go to the orphanage and get pictures of our little ones. Mand
Susan, Yeah!!! She is just beautiful and I'm soooo excited and happy for you guys. It's been great to view all the pictures - thanks so much for that. Love to you all. Mary
All the pictures are great! Elsa looks so comfortable with all of you. Can't wait till you get home and we can see her! HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY, Katherine! What a great way to spend you 18th birthday. Enjoy your journey and be safe.
Oh Susan! There is no feeling in the world like the joy of flying home with your beautiful new baby in your arms. I remember feeling on cloud nine with every look, smile and inquiry about whether or not the charming babies flying with us were ours. For those precious hours all inquiries were welcomed by this proud mommy who still felt like it was all a dream. Enjoy the journey, Susan and fam! Enjoy the moments of making memories with Elsa in China... enjoy the fun of showing her off on the plane, in the airport, on your blog... enjoy those first moments of getting to know this new little person God's brought into your life! We can't wait to meet her! You are all in our prayers and we celebrate with you! Greta and family
YEAH - wow - Beautiful - I am so happy for you - can't wait to meet her - Thanks for letting us be a part of this with you all - It has been really special - Have a safe trip home - love to you all - Jaimee
These are beautiful memories for you all! I looked at the pictures with Tadd this morning. He said he is feeling good but misses you. Congratulations to you all - this is a once in a lifetime gift!
She is lovely! What a joyous day! Only a God like ours could make such a perfect match from opposite sides of the world. My friend wrote me a poem when we brought Rachel home from China. I want to pass it along, but I'll change the names to fit your family. I don't know if my friend Carrie will ever publish it, but it captured my heart's emotions on Gotcha Day.
"Born in a world unknown to me, born not of my womb's own planted seed, The will of God stretched 'cross the sea to complete the Bowden family tree.
I've dreamed of my daughter's first embrace the long wait's pain...no longer a trace, Weeping for joy with tears on each face My dreams came true through prayer and God's grace.
My love for thee now set in stone As I finally hold you as my own, Never more to be all alone My precious Elsa, welcome HOME."
I just wanted you to know that I love you for what you do and who you are; and I admire you and your strength. Your unconditional patience and love remind me of our own parents with us. So I know that Elsa is going to be just fine now because she has you. I couldn't love you more for what you've done for our world. Your Brother, Will.
